arge All purpose cement can be used for
rubber, glass, cork, leather, wood, metal, concrete, vinyl.
Great for weather stripping, car doors, windows, footwear repair etc. Adheres to any clean surface.
Barge rubber cement is handy to have around the house. It will patch the Northerner rubber boots and will stick just about anything together.
This listing is for 4 oz cement, includes 2 wool daubers and 1 cap (bottle/sticker may be different from picture)

Instructions:
How do I apply Barge?
Shake or stir well prior to use. Make sure both surfaces are clean, dry, and free of dust or particles. Apply thin and even to both surfaces.
Wait time is approximately 5 to15 minutes to allow the cement to get tacky.
Put together and apply pressure.
Press together with weight for 1-2 minutes

24 hours before using.

at does Dry Time mean?
Once Barge has been applied to both surfaces, dry time refers to how long you must leave the surfaces separated in order to allow the solvent to evaporate.
2: What does Open Time mean?
Once dry time is complete, open time is the amount of time the materials being bonded may be left out before being put together.
3: Does humidity effect dry time?
Yes, humidity will extend dry time.
4: Will Barge dry clear?
Our All Purpose Clear Toluene-Free Cement is the only product currently offered that dries clear. Otherwise the adhesive will eventually dry to a color similar to it’s original color.
5: Will Barge be flexible when it dries?
Yes, all Barge products create a flexible and strong bond when allowed to bond properly.
6: Will it settle in the can? Do I need to shake or stir it?
If left for a long period of time Barge may settle. The best advice is to shake or stir the material in order to optimally remix the formula.
7: What can I use to clean Barge off a surface or spilled area?
Acetone & Thinner will remove Barge from most surfaces, however we strongly recommend testing it first.
8: Is it water based?
No, all current Barge adhesives are solvent based.
9: Is it flammable?
Yes, Barge products are flammable. Use in a well-ventilated area. Keep away from heat and flames, such as pilot light, and any object that sparks, such as an electric motor. Avoid prolonged breathing and concentrating of vapors. Keep out of reach of children.

Will it work underwater?
It will not bond underwater, but once complete and dry the bond itself will be waterproof

I did everything I know how to do and it’s just not bonding, what can I do?
Clean and dry the surface, be sure there is no oil or dust on material. We recommend lightly buffing or sanding the surface, and cleaning any sanding/buffing dust from surface. We also recommend lightly rubbing Barge Thinner or acetone on the surface after buffing. Refer to our Material Application chart to ensure the best material for your project.
