This is a 8 3/4" Tall Hard Plastic Bluebird Coin Bank. The Wings are up in the air and the ends look a bit like someone's fists shaped in a victory position! He has a White Airbrushed? Chest with a Blue Sticker that says "Alm.Brand" in white with a tiny Danish Flag. This is most likely related to the other Danish (DAM, Royal Industries, Royal Design, Plastech) Companies whose work was commissioned by real banks as gifts for first time accounts!The bird is scuffed up a bit, but someone who is handy with acrylic painting could easily fix it up. I am guessing that it belonged to a boy and spent a lot of time "flying" about! Great addition to your troll collectionTROLLS ROCK!!! I Measure Trolls
From the Bottom of their Feet to the Highest "RUBBER/PLASTIC" Point (Tips of Ears or the Top of Forehead)!
Any Scratches, Cracks or other Things (THAT ARE BEYOND NORMAL PLAY OR WEAR AND TEAR) that might lower the value of a Troll will be mentioned in the Description! CHILDREN FREQUENTLY WROTE THEIR INITIALS ON TROLL'S FEET SO I DON'T COUNT THAT AS A FLAW!

HE WORKS VERY HARD AT MAKING THEM AS TRUE TO COLOR AND NEAT AS POSSIBLE AND THIS TROLL IS VERY COOL!

I remember getting a giant Mouse from Security Pacific in California that was "troll-like" but even though I already collected trolls and especially loved the animals, this one did not strike me as "DANISH" and I remember it was not one of my favorites. Of course it got lost along the way and now, although I have picked up a couple of others, I would now like to have MINE! Doesn't that just figure!!? The Black Coin Plug says "Hornsyld Denmark dhp and on the other side of the circle are the numbers 600070 - the plugs frequently have this marking but I've never seen one with a number! The bird is scuffed up a bit, but someone who is handy with acrylic painting could easily fix it up. I am guessing that it belonged to a boy and spent a lot of time "flying" about! Great addition to your troll collection or, as I have found, so many banks were made between the 1960s and 1980s, that I have started a branch of my own collection devoted to banks although the more DAM like the happier I am! Many of mine even get a bit of Mohair as I am not fond of hairless animals and so if you would like a bit of hair on yours just be sure because I use a crazy wicked glue and I don't know would remove it from the Hard Plastic without either damaging the Bird OR knocking you out silly from the fumes! Great Fun to stuff to research! I've spent hours with my hubby and the directions we've been taken are wild - just while trying to translate!
